Physical and Chemical Properties | Chemical properties This product is a light yellow or brownish yellow viscous liquid. Relative density (20 ℃)1.07~1.09. In water, it is in a neutral molecular or jelly state, without dissociation, stable to acid, alkali, and metal salts, and has good surface activity at low concentrations. |
Use | This product is widely used in pesticide emulsifier and industrial surface active agent, commonly used in the preparation of parathion, phoxim, insecticide sulfur and other emulsifiable concentrates. |
Under the catalysis of sulfuric acid, benzene is used as alkylation reagent to alkylate phenol. After the formation of styrene basic phenol, it undergoes condensation reaction with formaldehyde. The condensate is then polycondensed with ethylene oxide under base catalysis. Finally neutralize the condensation polymer to obtain the finished product.
